Robert Majkut has created unique cinema interior designs for many years. However, some of the most impressive ones can be seen in Beijing. The artist was asked to design a cinema for Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment Group – a legendary Asian cinema company. It was a great opportunity and the result had to be big. You see for yourself how big an impressive it came out.
The Orange Cinemas interior designs consist of a Piano Bar Zone, private VIP rooms, a Cigar Club and Pink Sky. The interior design is a unique combination of colors, textures and light. Robert Majkut used variable light produced by big screens, sounds from the Piano Bar and intense color combinations. It’s obvious that there’s a strong Chinese influence in those designs. In fact, the manually painted Chinese symbols were a requirement and a basis for these designs.
The materials used in this project are shiny stone, mahogany veneer, silk wallpapers, wool carpeting, leather, felt, and polished steel. Among the predominant colors there’s the orange, black and pink. The cinema occupies 1000 sq meters and it consists of 3 auditoriums of 30 seats each that can be adjusted to accommodate 200 guests. At the beginning, this place seems to be more like an illusion of a cinema. However, that can be easily changed.
