The Nightwatchman is a reversible laser-cut garment produced from a lightweight cotton blend fabric. Its centre front is secured by custom produced Boneville butcher’s buttons, as is its removable collar. The garment includes two lower front pockets that carry through on both garment faces, leather throat tab and a single locker loop per face.
The Nightwatchman features a line of triple stitching at the hem in homage to a traditional construction method used on working coats of the last century. Workmen would use these stitch lines as guides to cut their coat to size once the hem became damaged due to work in highly inclement conditions, allowing them to customise their garment and make it as fit for purpose as possible.
