Nike pop-up showroom by Maggie Peng & Albert Tien, Beijing

December 19th, 2012 by retail design blog

We designed an exhibition environment for the new Nike Women’s Collection to express the atmosphere of weightlessness and the ethereal. The simplicity and scale of the three top and bottom plinths serve as a monumental backdrop for the suspended elements in between that came in and out of focus through the movement between the plinths. Behind the three plinths is a large video projection of images from the look book that we animated to create movement. The installation as a whole creates a strong, serene, yet warm space that allows the products to be the centerpiece.
