Milpa Alta rug by Ariel Rojo

December 20th, 2012 by retail design blog

This rug’s design pays tribute to the cactus area Milpa Alta in Mexico City, where the 70% of the country’s production of cactus is grown. It is also a recognition of this cactus for their nutritional value in Mexican cuisine and an homage to its national and historical value.
