Faceted Tactile Light Collection by Studio Avni

January 19th, 2013 by retail design blog

London-educated, Mumbai-based architect and designer Avni Sejpal, of Studio Avni, brings her varied training, from graphic design to textiles to fashion, to every design she produces, including the Faceted Tactile Light Collection.

Using traditional materials like brass, copper, stainless steel, and bronze, along with materials like PVC sheets, they are cut and then either linked or stitched together to form the geometric forms of each fixture. The texture created is unbelievable and it’s hard to imagine that these are not made from paper.
