Aesop store by Nadaaa, Hong Kong – China

December 26th, 2013 by retail design blog

Aesop has added yet another store to its extensive retail network in Hong Kong. Situated at Festival Walk, a popular mall in the upscale Kowloon Tong area, the store occupies a unit on the ground floor and features an interior design by architecture practice Nadaaa from Boston. Behind a glass façade, the sleek design beckons with a natural palette and a subtle disregard of the linear.

There’s no hard edge to be found as walls are curved and clad in camel felt. The timber shelving features compatible radius edges and are discreetly anchored into the walls. A counter top and product testing sink of blackened steel provide industrial accents, the whole resting on a utilitarian concrete floor. The new Aesop store carries the brand’s full range of skin, body and hair care products.
