Aveda Lifestyle salon – Amanda Marsden by Reis Design, Exeter – UK

April 22nd, 2014 by retail design blog

Reis Design were appointed as lead designers on this exciting Aveda Lifestyle salon project for Amanda Marsden in Exeter, UK. Housed in a spectacular Grade II-listed Georgian building, originally the city’s County Chambers, the space is blessed with 20-foot-high ceilings and swathed in plenty of natural light. With such a spectacular space to begin with, Amanda was keen to keep as much of the building’s original character as possible. Amanda explains: “Reis Design understood the importance of telling the building’s story, so everyone could enjoy it as it would have originally existed, while creating a really engaging & functional design from a practical point of view.
