For the design of the new restaurant „Bahnhöfli“ in Sursee it was the aim to preserve and emphasise the nostalgic character of the historic railway building. A picture gallery stretches across the walls telling the story of the „Sursee-Triengen“ Railway. A narrow side room appears as inside of an old wagon and on the way to the restrooms the guest seems to follow a railway tunnel. The dark blue color of the walls creates a contrast to the old wood paneling and the furniture that was reused from the former restaurant.
