Vanmoof flagship store / research center by Ontology Studio, Taipei – Taiwan

July 12th, 2016 by retail design blog

Here comes the flag ship store/ research center of Vanmoof in Taipei. The raw cement floor and the industrial look black stairs keep it raw and simple. And the paint of brand color serves as the simplest element of interior design. Only by putting it neatly and boldly on walls it makes a fresh look that reveals the urban bike brands DNA as an innovator.

Sparing much of the decoration and furniture brings the light in the space to life. One can feel no stress, only comfortableness in the zone. The wide space and the all-flat cement floor enable multiple functions of the place, even for stage performance on special events. Moreover, a rider can just slip in through the gate/ carry the bike easily to the research office on the second and third floor/ head out the door on a bike then travel along the alleys of Taipei city.
