The Casio G-Shock pop up shop in Harrods, Knightsbridge was launched on 1st October. Designed and installed by Design4Retail, this pop up shop celebrates 30 years of Casio G-Shock watches. The pop up shop is situated on the 5th Floor in Harrods, Knightsbridge situated amongst other cool sports brands. This dramatic space was designed to create a strong brand space and promote the new Casio G-Shock watch – the MTG which is Casio’s most expensive model.
We designed a timeline wall to celebrate Casio G-Shock’s heritage, highlighting key milestones and watch designs throughout the 30 years. Glass display tanks showcase the watches on sale. This pop up shop promotes collaboration with Men’s Health Magazine shown through an interactive element for the customer to have their photograph taken at the site showing their street style and their favourite Casio G-Shock watch for a chance to win a holiday.
The overall image of the pop up shop has a very urban, sporty and street feel to enhance the brand image and also to attract Casio G-Shock’s target audience – which is 16-30 year olds. Exposed brick work and interesting watch display gives a tough and edgy feel to the pop up shop.
This eye catching and masculine design showcases G-Shock’s brand values and heritage. G-Shock watches are tough and durable which the design communicates to the customer.
