We wanted to communicate to the customers that the desserts themselves are a piece of art. We identified a colour scheme where purple is the dominant colour and golden/golden yellow is the secondary based on physical and digital applications. The golden yellow would primarily be used for the logo and in cases of highlight elements.

The store is made in an existing bungalow in a quaint area in the city of Pune, India instead of opting for a standard retail format on a high street. The aim was to seamlessly blend the retail aspects into a home environment to create a comfortable and positive space that the seniors feel comfortable walking into.

By using fresh colors and textures, we were able to create an atmosphere that compliments the food as well as the service. The use of green is prominent yet not overpowering. We introduced the red color through the tree element to add a fun and psychedelic touch that is the center of the entire place.

The identity is inspired by wooden block print motifs of India. The logo is a royal, elite, minimal form that evokes a sense of exclusivity, and authenticity while having its roots in traditional Indian forms.

To create spatial interest, platforms are used in different finishes across the store. Flooring overlays in parquet and carpets used in sync with the ceilings help create different interesting highlights across the store to draw interest to the offerings.

Bird cages, wall mounted chairs, a bicycle, baskets, and glass bowl like decorative lighting and a kids’ toy streetscape and a chocolate bar like ceiling add the brand proprietary emotive touch to the store environment. Messaging across the store help add emotive and meaningful conversations in the environment.
