The new BASE_camp is located right in the heart of Berlin.
The BASE_camp combines mobile phone shop, café, co-working space, workshop and event location.
Due to a mobile, flexible furnishing, the 330m2 space can be used for various purposes.
The comfortable lounge area is already visible from outside. The furnishing, e.g. Windsor chairs and Muuto tables, link the retro-chic of Berlin’s café culture to the progressive spirit of mobile communication.
In the lounge area, visitors can relax and surf on the new BASE tabs (tablet PCs).
The mokador café is based on a kiosk – a classic communicative stopover and basics provider. The box becomes an eye catcher.
Freestanding, high quality furniture presenting the products responds to the reduced style of the room. The uncommon connection of natural materials like linoleum and copper grants a certain warmth to the technical products.
Numerous boxes on the walls allow a flexible, variable product presentation. They communicate flexibility and mobility.
The „flatrate table“ offers space for the large daily breakfast on offer at BASE_camp. Workshops and seminars can be held in a soothing atmosphere.
In the rear area of the BASE_camp, working spaces for E-Plus employees can be found. It can furthermore be used as a vitreous “Web-TV-Studio“.
The predominant room element is the analogue twitter wall: a large-scale wall installation displays up-to-date Berlin trend topics and hash tags on twitter. Classic display panels connect the analogue and the digital world.
The analogue twitter wall becomes inspirational source for conversations. Hence, BASE_camp is on the cutting edge.
The co-working spaces are equipped with classic desk lamps and electrical sockets. Wireless internet is available in the entire shop. Lockers offer space for valuables.
Co-working spaces. The hash tag “gnmt”, by the way, stands for the TV programme “Germany’s Next Top Model”.
