The traditional German soccer club Bayer 04 Leverkusen approached us with the wish for a new design concept for their so called „Vini“– a Winebar in the heart of the Bay Arena for their VIP guests. The 400m2 bar should be transformed into a cozy fanbase that celebrates the club and its history. Furthermore it should become a meeting-­‐point for players and fans.

In collaboration with Schwitzke & Partner and Schwitzke Project, Schwitzke Graphics developed an all encompassing design concept that brings fans one step closer to the club through museum and interactive elements. With the quote: „Wir sind Bayer 04!“ (“We are Bayer 04!“) fans are welcomed by an interactive photo wall where they can take a „selfie“ and share it over the screens. The way up into the first floor is framed by photographs of former club stars and memorabilia from over 100 years of club history.

Oversized wall graphics in the colours of Bayer 04 Leverkusen show parts of the stadium, ace-­‐striker Stefan Kießling and fans. In the „living room“ one can follow the game in old leather armchairs and in the fan-­‐shop of the Schwadbud one can buy the latest jersey or a souvenir. Last but not least, on the way into the stadium visitors are left with one last impression of the Bayer 04 fans because this is what counts: solidarity and love for the club.
