The Marc O’Polo story began in Sweden and soon moved into the international league. Marc O’Polo was founded in Stockholm in 1967 by Swedes Rolf Lind and Göte Huss and their American colleague Jerry O’Sheets. The brand’s success was based on the three founders’ brilliant idea: “To use natural materials like cotton, wool, linen and silk, because only natural materials can give our clothes the look we want them to have! We use synthetics only when we have to.”
Today, Marc O’Polo is well on the way to becoming Europe’s most desirable fashion label in the premium casualwear sector. Marc O’Polo is synonymous with a casual urban lifestyle for discerning people. The focus on natural materials is in keeping with the brand’s Swedish origins.
