LIU JO’s new retail point was opened in Singapore’s prestigious WISMA ATRIA Mall. The store’s realization by Studio Fabio Caselli Design follows the Gold Concept’s guiding principles of a harmonious combination of materials and space in order to represent its central concepts: Luxury and Made in Italy. Brightness, transparency, and precious materials are combined to create a space that is extremely feminine and enveloping.
In particular, for what concerns the materials utilized for the interiors, Fabio Caselli’s Design Studio places great importance on the choice of metals. A combination of gold and steel is employed for the wall decorations, columns and counters. The same chromatic choices has been made for the niche Gold Capsule Colletion: crystal shelves and hangables favour the outfitting of the various product types.
The wood used for the drawers and register area is treated with a specific finish “millerighe” (multi striped). The store’s focal point is a semi-transparent screen, made of alternating cream and gold strips on steel structure, which divides and defines the surrounding space. Finally, the walls are entirely lined with paper creating a special “tiny square” effect. The structured surfaces lend themselves well to the use of interesting three-dimensional effects created by the lights.
As mentioned above, light is the fundamental element which binds and enhances all other elements employed in the Gold Concept, and on which great attention is placed in order to create situations and atmospheres that will draw the customers’ attention and spark their curiosity.
