Don’t get us wrong, we love kids. But we’re usually not very fond of kids stores. They either have a predictable interior or one that’s totally drab. Neither actually isn’t the case with Centre Commercial Kids, the new junior equivalent of the cool Centre Commercial that also opened in the emerging shopping grounds of Canal St.-Martin two years ago. The store interior is quite similar, blending the building’s retained elements with modern yet simple design elements.
Centre Commercial Kids matches the appealing setting with a cherry-picked selection of merchandise. There’s children’s apparel, accessories and toys that combine local craftsmanship and eco-friendly materials, by brands such as Oeuf, Bobo, Clotaire and Dis Une Couleur. Spicing up the store concept, Centre Commercial Kids also stocks one-of-a-kind antique kids furniture pieces, home accesories, birth gifts, toys and teddy bears, and even a bookshop. Planned for the future are fashion collabs and other events aimed at the little ones that’ll entice an older demographic just as easily.
