VALORS is an Osaka-based photovoltaic power system related company. This company who deals with high-cost products such as solar modules and mega solar system is looked more on the investment – perspective of the characteristics of their customers. So the clean image with their customers would be really important for building relationship of mutual trust with their customers. Therefore, creating LOGO and Visual Identity as external application would occupy a large amount of the entire artworks.
Currently in Japan. Most of the competitors are start-up companies who deprecate the importance of creating LOGO and Visual Identity. Those companies may set a high value on short-term profit based on the characteristics of Japanese solar energy business. In this situation, what would happen to their customers? Are they going to be left there behind?
I set a high value on creating Visual Identity in terms of branding of Valors. Originally, the LOGO did not express vision and identity of Valors, but I have defined and reform it based on the source of company name. I have proceeded to create Visual Identity based on the interview with CEO. Currently, I am creating internal and external activities in parallel with creating their brand.
