It is located in Basement 2 of The Shoppes in Marina Bay Sands. Well, for those of you who are not Singaporeans, and have no idea what I am talking about, Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort which consists of a convention-exhibition centre, The Shoppes mall, iconic ArtScience Museum and a casino. Focusing on “The Shoppes”, it is “one of the largest collections of the most coveted brands, an Asia’s premier shopping destination.” This just means that it consists of a variety of branded stores (including Chanel, Prada, Miu Miu, Versace, Ralph lauren just to name a few) and boutiques, basically a one-stop labels-filled mall! Isn’t it remarkable how a departmental boutique can find its way here?

Though the main fashion department of Robinsons will only have its opening somewhere near mid or end of July, their unique intimates department has already made its debut! Truthfully, the design of the store was ah-mazing, exterior AND interior. As it lies in the middle of the arch, you can already feel the sense of anticipation as to what that shop is. Then, when you finally see it, you will be amazed by its window display, by how intricate the design and the lighting went together seamlessly. I was wowed even when the gates are closed, as the gates have that oriental-design motif, it’s definitely grand and definitely posh! And then, beyond the gates, you see these manequins having the latest collection on.

Alright, enough said of the exterior, the interior was even better! The boutique seemed so friendly, I just felt different from going into other lingerie boutiques. Trust me, Victoria’s Secret might be very well-known and branded, but when I was just passing by it, I was so overwhelmed by the provocative large posters with models in pure intimates, which sort of pulled me back from entering, well but their products are still great! 🙂

However in here, the posters/photographs were kept more conservative, giving a milder feel. Plus, as it is framed beautifully in black-and-white, it almost gives a sense of nostalgia, a sense of femininity, which is rather welcoming, something like a girl’s own bedroom! With its feminine pink running in the middle of the boutique, it gives the shopper a rather focal point, and that is where the manequins with the latest collection are, a simply intelligent design! I really love the color scheme of the boutique; pink, black, white and cream! Plus, having the boutique organized and clean is definitely a plus point! Oh, and the furnitures in there created a somewhat baroque-romantic feel which was not overly done, it was great.

Oh, did I mention about their fitting rooms? It might look too conservative at the first glance, but when you actually step into the fitting rooms, wow they were amazing! They were clean and spacious, ensuring maximum comfort and privacy! It is REALLY big, probably the most spacious fitting rooms I’ve ever seen for a lingerie boutique! Moving on to the brands, there are more than 20 brands of bra in that one boutique! These are the brands: 2Chillies, Aubade, Booty Parlor, Calvin Klein, Chantelle, DKNY, Falke, Flaunt, Hanky Panky, Hollywood Accessories, Jets, Holidon, Lejaby, Maidenform, Mimi Holiday, Oroble, Passionaa, Pleasure State, Spanx, Triumph Black Label, Valisere, Wacoal, Wonderbra.
