The new KICKS brand and store project was designed by Gonçalo Barata. The concept of this fashion and multibrand shoe store, was built with simple design and materials. Using wood sticks on the walls and ceilings like a large shoe lace where the shoes are placed on display – yielding a three-dimensional construction involving the entire space. The colors used are dark gray in contrast to the clear pine wood.
