Located in Santa Fe, the EA Games mexican headquarters challenged KMD to create a fun space that included great franchises such as Star Wars, FIFA and Plants Vs Zombies, but at the same time remain needed to be a formal working area that could allow the creative employees to receive clients and visitors. Despite their restraint to take such diverse and fun elements literally, the final product is far from boring! People can clearly distinguish each room’s personality and “press to start” their days in a very cheerful and colorful office.

Although the project did not intend a Sustainability certification, KMD’s compromise with the client was that of providing a responsible design. By using recycled content in the Shaw Contract Group carpet, ceilings and wooden finishes the firm achieved to decrease the damaging procedures that the planet is subjected to. The lighting includes LED technology and by choosing Herman Miller as their dealer, the client was assured that the furniture was made by clean and sustainable processes.
