Foot & Body Haven by Span Design, Bondi Junction – Australia

October 16th, 2016 by retail design blog

“The word ‘Haven’ interprets a feeling of safety, a place where one can relax and / or meditate. The concept development comes from the correlation of Haven and Zen where the four seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter and the 5 senses; Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell & Touch all come together to design a space that creates the mood of Zen and relaxation but that’s also close to nature.

Uses of concrete and dim lighting creates just that in this ‘Haven’ and it also gives the sense of touch and sight. While the purpose of the acrylic panels on the ceiling throughout the store and the multimedia projector of the four seasons demonstrates the cycle and flow of nature and the seasons of change.

Whether it’s the ambience that the elements bring or the multimedia projector that shows the seasons of change, this will take the customer onto a journey where they have the 360 degree interaction and experience of this space.”
