Oktra has designed the new offices of business management consultants Elixirr, located in London, England. Designed to be a physical representation of Elixirr’s brand and personality, every detail of the space was designed to reflect their vision: “to be the best consulting firm in the world”.

Nine private client meeting rooms each have their own individual theme. From Lounge”, “Store” and “Cloud”, representing the three converging industries the firm predominantly works in (financial services, retail, technology), through to “Indaba”, that makes the connection to the firm’s strong South African routes, every room tells a story unique to Elixirr.

The flexible working space is open plan, so the whole team – Partners through to Interns – sit together to facilitate a collaborative, entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment. Entrepreneurs from Elixirr Capital’s startup accelerator work side-by-side with the consulting team.

Nobody is assigned a desk and the team can move around throughout the day from seated to standing, from open group work spaces to private meeting rooms – a very fluid environment more reflective of a startup than a traditional professional services firm. It even incorporates an audio and video recording studio: Studio E.

The open plan space is designed around a central curved social area. Opposite this is the feature “stage” area, inspired by Elixirr’s “The Pitch” and old-fashioned cinema, providing a flexible space for company or client events and presentations. The light box is a unique addition that not only provides an effective internal communication channel, it puts the perfect finishing touch onto the bright colour, quirk and vibrancy that gives this space its unique energy.
