Villy Customs, the Texas-based bicycle studio renown for their bright bikes that pop with color has now launched a range of six new perfectly pastel pedalers, available in lemon yellow, baby blue and coral among other color ways. Although the bicycles’ aesthetic alone is enough to lift your mood, by owning one of Villy Custom’s “cruisers with a cause” you’re actually doing good, since for every ten bikes sold, the company donate one to a kid who is battling cancer.
The set of Villy Customs’ bikes includes rust-resistant features, with all accent parts powdercoated or pained to make sure they don’t lose their color. The bikes–namely Annabelle, Caleb, Ellie, Jude, Raegan and Thomas–have all been named after a kid whose currently fighting cancer, and previously received a bicycle from the company’s “remarkable ride foundation.” The charity has been set up in 2015, to help bring a spark into a child’s life who has to go through something as awful as having cancer.
Villy Customs’ founder, fleetwood hicks, explains that “our bikes are known for their unique color, features, simplicity, and comfortable ride. The “cruisers with a cause” campaign allows us to pre-sell curated bikes in bulk quantity, which reduces our production cost and allows us to give back to a great cause that we believe in. Our customers get a great deal and also get to know that they are helping to give an exciting product to a kid going through cancer.”
