This Chocolate Dessert café, our first truly café project by p/s/d and it is our first project in Kuwait. For Chocomelt, this is the second branch located in The Avenue, the largest semi-outdoor Hi-end shopping mall in the country. It is interesting that the location of the shop is incredible, it can be seen outstandingly from the center lower floor which is clearly featured.

The idea of designs was initially researching from the brand, itself, with three words: valuable, craft and process. Chocomelt concerned high quality ingredients especially cacao beans, related to their unique and special menus. As a result, designers brought the source of business which is cacao beans.

Starting with the sorting process in the high standard factory, the scenery was created as if customers are sitting in the factory watching their producing, such as the roof form and the natural light from the outside through the skylight void.

Seating layout became another highlight for this shop, various yet united. Last but not least, the enormous front door of the factory was designed and inspired by cacao beans which mean, Chocomelt, the sensational mix of chocolates.
