We have launched our new urban concrete seating project ‘Steps’ at Greenwich Peninsula, next to the O2 Arena. This is our first long term outdoor project which is planned to stay there for the next ten years.
‘Steps” is a new concrete seating design, aimed to redefine how people use public space. Commissioned by Greenwich Peninsula in association with NOW Gallery we have created scaled up armchair like seats forming an urban texture which invites people to dwell, play, lean and relax on, in this new swathe of London.
The new purpose-built design district will be emerging right in front of it over the next few years and we can’t wait to see even more people enjoying their lunch breaks on our seats.
‘Steps’ is a new concrete seating design, aimed to redefine how people use public space; we have designed ‘Steps’ as a cluster of concrete seats which will live outside NOW Gallery on Peninsula Square for the foreseeable future to create a place for two to nest, invite people to dwell, play, lean and relax in this new swathe of London and enjoy the developing surroundings.
