For the new hair salon, GN Hair, the design team’s main approach was to consider it to be a pleasant space for customers as well as a sufficient work space for hairdressers in a limited space. In order to do so, very clear design language was needed to intrigue customers and the passerby. During the process of concept development, an image of a swirling peachy hair of a woman was brought up and later this was further developed into the main separating feature wall in the shop. Not only this hair-resembling feature wall has separated space according to its function, but its bumpy in-and-out feature has expressed the unique identity of the space.
