The AriosteaRetail stand has been designed for Ariostea by Marco Porpora Architetti for Cersaie 2017 in Bologna. The Glass House, one of the most famous works of modern architecture in the world, is reinterpreted to create an elegant exhibition space in which structural glass and large slabs merge together, lending a feel of lightness and space to the pavilion.

Along the windows, a perimeter walkway is made around the floor in bark, with the stand seemingly taking life from this natural element, which goes on to surround the large central area. Materials are the stars of the show here, their richness providing the visual identity of the hub.

The seating and reception area blend into a sophisticated flooring with curved walkway, an unusual effect for ceramics, giving an unexpected sense of dynamism to the luxurious rigour of the room.
