CPG Architects designed the offices for Inspira Marketing located in Norwalk, Connecticut. Inspira Marketing came to us in need of a new look for their new home. They were growing and wanted a space that embodied their energetic spirit. Their new location melds luxury and industrial in the heart of South Norwalk, Connecticut. With a client base that visits them often, they wanted an agile approach to their workspace, with a blurred line between hospitality and office.
Upon entering, there is a large back bar and island with warm tones, textures and details. There is rough wood with an oil rubbed finish and leather cross stitching in the stools, a tall open illuminated ceiling with Edison bulbs and polished concrete floors. The Boardroom houses a huge live-edge wood conference table and floating above is an interlocking felted grid stud with down lights.
When everyone gathers, the roll-up garage door at the end of the Boardroom rolls up and extends the space for their company-wide once a month meeting. To connect the space, with a stylistic edge, a large custom steel spiral staircase was installed. The solid metal steps, and perforated metal railings echo the gritty yet sophisticated vibe of the space. The end result is moody, industrial and steampunk-esque, giving Inspira an identity all their own.
