Informed.co’s waterfront office in Jersey City is a collaborative environment that embraces company culture and values as their price-intelligence mission continues to grow, expand and evolve in the fast-paced tech industry.

Huntsman Architectural Group developed an office design for Amazon repricing platform, Informed.co, located in Jersey City, New Jersey. Informed.co (formerly Appeagle), a price-intelligence company, provides automation and analytics to help online retailers gain critical knowledge and maintain a competitive edge. Named as one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest-growing private companies in 2015, Informed.co sought a competent partner to find and design a new corporate headquarters that would allow for expansion, enhance its recruitment efforts, and reflect the company’s brand and culture.

Moving to a new waterfront space in Jersey City, New Jersey allowed Informed.co to consolidate operations into a dynamic neighborhood and workplace. The foremost goal was to create a casual, yet curated environment that authentically conveys the company’s culture. The overarching design concept harkens back to the live/work lofts or garage origins of many technology companies. Concrete floors and open ceilings set the stage for an inviting and lively workplace where both raw and refined materials and furniture comfortably reinforce the company’s philosophy of family, collaboration, and transparency.

The new space enjoys abundant daylight and expansive views of the Hudson River across to Manhattan. The client desired an environment similar to a family reunion, where open work areas allow staff to easily collaborate and socialize. The solution features an array of work settings with seamless transitions – from adjustable-height benching workstations to bar-height standing tables, casual lounge areas for break out meetings or socializing, and window seats to enjoy the impressive views. A long chalkboard wall extends from reception through a lounge/café area, where employees are often found doodling inspirational artwork or formulating their next great ideas.
