Created by Principal Designer at FACULTY, Mike Darvill, the brief was to create a minimal interior, allowing the sushi to be the centre of attention.

By taking advantage of the existing street exposure, the layout was orientated around the central sushi display.

The interior reaffirms the established Kintaro brand with its striking red contrast and at the same time displays a sensitivity to the heritage features of the building.
