Barker are one of England’s oldest shoe makers with a heritage of hand made craftsmanship and a major factory still producing high quality shoes in the Northampton, home of British shoemaking.

Author have created a strong product focused environment that “heroes” the shoe and capitalizes on a strong and simple color palette. The new high street store in the heart of the London launched late February 2019 clearly illustrates Barkers new approach to retailing. This store is an extension of a concession environment opened within Printemps Paris men’s footwear department where the striking display elements against a cornflower blue backdrop have ensured Barker stands out amongst their contemporaries.
