dwp was tasked with the design of the modern KBANK Private Banking offices located in Bangkok, Thailand. In a big move for the corporate banking sector, KBANK asked dwp to design a very high-end, by-invitation-only, banking experience. KBANK’s privileges are curated especially for high net worth clients. Ranging from privileges in banking and investments, to lifestyle needs. The function of the offices, is to provide business network building, financial concierge services, investment information services via seminars offering domestic and global investment updates.

A warm opulent welcome is created right from the moment the doors open into the lift lobby with wooden slatted wall finishes and deep walnut trim. Statuesque French doors with bold brass door knobs open into a comfortable and luxurious customer lounge in hues of platinum and gold with taupe, browns and creams which offer a lush, rich accents.

Floor to ceiling doors are a feature of the plush customer sitting room and concierge. The rounded-rather-than-regular-rectangle concierge desk is distinctively designed to catch the eyes of the clients when walking in, and finished in champagne coloured stainless steel.

The elegant oversize doors lead to private meeting rooms which each tell a different design story. Each room is created according to the character and requirements of the client. Accessorised with iconic furniture, custom carpets and colours and patterns, textures and finishes that also reflect locations relating to K Bank history. The rooms have a very different identity. From Eurasian classic, to feminine chic and masculine leathery club.

The office is located on a very high floor in the Bhiraj Tower, above one of Bangkok’s premium shopping Malls, Emquartier. The layout was planned to maximise natural light throughout and allow stunning views of the metropolis to pour inside.

dwp pushed KBANK – a traditional company – towards a modern office concept with a bar, a long countertop with power outlets for hot-desking and also a café with a view. The result is an extremely functional and flexible office design with clear desks that allow all the staff access to maximum daylight.
