Tora Eatery is an Asian-Inspired Eatery, in Windsor, Victoria, Australia.
Studio Grayscale were engaged to redesign an existing café at the site, and to create a new interior suited to an Asian Eatery, with evening trading hours.
Naturally, we drew inspiration from Asian architecture and design – linear timber elements wrap the walls and ceiling, encompassing the space – subtly link the interior design with the food offering.
Lighting also played an important role in the design, we wanted to create a moody evening feel, achieved by led feature lighting washing the walls, shelves and main bar.
Tora Eatery merges elements of the existing tenancy with the new design, creating a space that is on brief and connected with the food offering.
