Following outposts in Tokyo and Taipei, MYKITA has once again set up shop in the Far Easy, and this time, it’s in Bangkok. The Berlin-based eyewear brand has opted for a compact yet lofty ground floor unit at Veela Sindhorn Village, a mall which forms an integral part of the plush Sindhorn Village residential complex in the city’s Pathumwan neighbourhood. Once again, the retail space is designed by MYKITA‘s in-house design team, and the compact retail space sees a more or less similar hi-tech aesthetic as all of the company’s other stores across the planet. The signature white wall of eye frames lines the entire back wall and dominates the setting which is framed by a metal ceiling and stone flooring. Additional furnishings comprise of trolleys in soft green with wooden tops, a cabinet if the same material and window displays. Situated in the back room is a full-fledged optical lab where eye measurements are made. The new MYKITA store carries the brand’s full range of frames, including its many coveted designer collab collections.
