El Barbero is a legend within the men’s grooming scene in Vancouver. Owner and Master Barber, Mikey Sbeih, wanted a space that was reminiscent of vintage American urban barbershop design, while appealing to the young corporate crowd in Vancouver. We used elements such as custom penny-round tile designs in the front entryway, and old-school barber chairs to bring some character into the space.
Overall, we kept it light and bright, and maximized branding from the street by incorporating two custom murals – one of El Barbero’s new brand design, and one introducing new clients to Mikey’s history as a Master barber abroad.
