GH+A design studios collaborated with Bravado & Universal Music Group to design RS No.9 Carnaby as a tribute to the greatest rock n’ roll band of all time. It is a one-of-a-kind store for fans to come and be immersed in The Rolling Stones. The ground floor features large video screens inspired by the “No Filter Tour” stage set, and a soundwave sculpture representing the first verse of the song “Paint It Black”. Downstairs, the store has an immersive Sound Room covered in red acoustic panels, and a Mirror Room wrapped in classic Stones lyrics. There are oversized Tongue sculptures on both levels for the perfect selfie. We had to work within the confines of a heritage building to pack as many experiences as we could into a small footprint
