Zurich-based bag manufacturer QWSTION ventures cross-country to raise its profile in Geneva, opening a temporary retail space at The Hamlet. Occupying a snug ground floor unit of these long-stay boutique lodgings in the historic heart of the city, it’s a collaborative initiative which seamlessly matches the profile of the latter’s guests, creating added value to their stay. Each of the sixteen apartments offers a plush contemporary setting, and obviously, the retail space has latched onto this aesthetic standard. The setting, designed by the brand’s in-house design team, features an understated design in a playful black and white colour scheme, and exclusively using furnishings by renowned brands Vitra and Artek which fully fit in the chosen theme. The furnishings are mixed and matched with QWSTION’s distinctive bags, all made from naturally grown fibres. It’s for the very first time that the bag manufacturer lands in this corner of Switzerland, stocking a selection of its bags, in addition to its brand new Flap Tote collection which is crafted from Bananatex, a biodegradable and highly sustainable material which it has developed in recent years. The QWSTION pop-up store will be operational until the end of December.
