Nissan has conceptualized the work-from-anywhere trend with the reveal of the NV350 caravan office pod concept. A business vehicle for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts alike, the project sees a NV350 retrofitted with a smartphone-controlled retractable workspace that extends outwards from the back of van into nature. Complete with a contemporary workstation that can fit a desktop computer and even a Herman Miller office chair, the concept allows occupants to work anywhere, according to their own working style.

The exterior of the NV350 caravan office pod concept features front and rear fenders and body graphics to express an all-rounder that can handle both on-road and off-road terrain. In addition to the retractable office stored within the car, Nissan has also included a luxurious roof balcony that can be accessed from the room so that you can relax between work. Meanwhile, a transparent panel on the floor of the office furthers the connection to the outdoors. The concept has been presented as part of the Nissan Customize 2021 initiative presented at the virtual Tokyo Auto Salon.
