The new % Arabica store which is located in Chengdu unites Japanese, French and Chinese cultures by blending Chinese landscapes, Japanese design and the Parisian café culture. The spatial composition suggests a mirrored reflection. This configuration is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Chinese landscapes which became the essence of our design proposal. The composition can be associated with urban exterior elements such as a tunnel, a bridge and even a skateboard ramp. The sensation of passing through this steel tunnel turns into an immersive experience while facilitating the circulation between the shop and the courtyard.
