In a small olive grove in the village of Lampini in southern Rethymno, Iliana Malihin continues to apply with sincere love, everything what her grandfather did teach her about the cultivation and production of olive oil. With the additional ally of her knowledge & expertise, she encased an organic extra virgin olive oil, labeling it -as a sign of gratitude- with the name of her mentor.

The creative core of the design idea was based on addressing Eliana’s relationship with her grandfather Emmanuel and their connecting element, which is of course the land (soil). This relationship is visualized initially with the depiction of the figures of two persons, connected by an irregular circle composing a single linear form, and concludes with the inscription “In the name my grandfather Emmanuel, owner of this land.”
