CRC designed the Lumenis offices with ample space for collaboration in Shanghai, China. Lumenis is a global leader in the field of minimally-invasive clinical solutions for the Ophthalmology and Aesthetic markets. Established in 1966, Lumenis‘ laser products for the treatment of eye diseases have provided advanced and complete services to many doctors and patients. NOVAH teams up with Century Refinement Construction Ltd., to redesign Lumenis’ Shanghai office in 2022.

This office is the perfect model for open office space design. Careful planning has resulted in a multifunctional space that fully supports employees’ concentration, relaxation and collaboration.

How do you provide privacy for your employees in an open space? In the Shanghai office of Lumenis, we have placed the NOBIUS silent room in different sizes. NOBIUS has a good sound insulation effect and can support telephone communication, online meetings, meetings for 2-4 people, etc. The interior of NOBIUS is equipped with comfortable sofas, convenient power supply, ventilation and lighting systems to give employees a comfortable experience.

With Cluster we have created an open workstation area. Using tools such as desktop screens, employees can quickly switch working modes. Cluster workstation not only supports personal focus, but also supports discussions and temporary meetings anytime.

Next to the workstation area is an open collaborative area where employees can start a brainstorming session at any time. And the video equipment and spacious desktop can provide effective support for their meetings.

As you can see, furniture such as screens and modular sofas play an important role in the office, and we have made good use of them to create a number of leisure areas where employees can talk to guests or work individually.
