All Design Studio (ADS): Reconstruct a Contemporary Lifestyle Aesthetics Space Through a Balanced Approach
This project is a retail premise designed by All Design Studio (“ADS”) for the bálancing, a pioneer fashion boutique brand in China. ADS decided to counteract the chaos of the existing space with a “balanced dynamic”.
ADS analyzed the design characteristics of the brand’s previous stores and found that a sense of balance is reflected in users’ perception of the comfortable environment. When ADS set out to conceive the new space, the team was faced with a variety of irregular shapes such as triangle, semicircle and trapezoid scattered throughout the 372㎡disorderly space.
