Gratia, a word inspired by the Latin for “gratitude”, is a Peruvian brand of specialty coffee that offers quality but with a conscience.
They allocate 2% of their profits to protect animals who are at risk of being gone tomorrow, that’s why they are the protagonists in the packaging. We chose Omnidegradable® bags, which biodegrade within 180 days, when in contact with organic matter, and can easily be composted at home. The founders also suggested adding Braille embossing for the visually impaired and we couldn’t agree more.
At Mezcla we worked on the brand strategy, naming, visual identity, packaging design, pre/post-production photography and art direction for Gratia, a brand that believes that to reach its goals, the means do matter.
