Spanning from 2021 to 2023, this transformative project breathes new life into a decade-old structure, originally designed as a furniture display space by Luca Nichetto. YI+MU’s vision marries the old with the new, infusing simplicity and liberality into the teahouse’s design. Nestled in Lidu Garden, the Lakeside Teahouse is accessible via a scenic path, surrounded by lush greenery. Innovative architectural elements maximize natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere. Embracing leisure and freedom, the interior features a cozy, modern design with earthy tones and wood accents, offering a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
