Menswear brand Collezionista has taken its operations to a new level by opening a flagship store at home base Seoul where it’s able to showcase the full spectrum of its classic collections. The brand has secured a space of 126 sqm. (1,356 sq.ft.) set across two floors of a modern building in the city’s Nonhyeon neighbourhood. For the design of the retail space, Collezionista tapped local interior design practice Saso Studio which also dramatically modified the building’s façade along the way. The windows on the second floor have literally been opened up, and combined with the ground floor windows and entrance, they’re now connected by a pristine white stuccoed frame which slightly protrudes from the façade.

The white hue extends inside across the entire store, covering the walls and ceiling. However, the ground floor sees flooring of concrete with an epoxy finishing, while one floor up the setting is anchored by hardwood flooring. Furnishings comprise custom-made pieces in light timber, including open display units and a cluster of drawers to display clothes, accessories, and shoes. Additionally, both floors come with homey seating arrangements with carefully curated design pieces where shoppers can sit back during shopping sprees. Sitting in the ground floor window is a large C-shaped stainless steel clothing display which is also eye-catching ornamental object at the same time. The new Collezionista flagship store carries all of the brand’s collections. © superfuture
