Nestled between rainforest peaks and the flowing Lancang River, ALAN RESORT offers a tranquil escape into nature. Far from the city’s clamor, the resort is immersed in mountain mists and bird song, blending architecture seamlessly into the surrounding wilderness. Drawing from the natural landscape, two separate structures are unified into one fluid sanctuary—where design becomes an extension of the environment.
The architecture cascades along the hillside like stones resting in the forest. Centered around a serene swimming pool, the layout features “mountain-shaped” volumes unfolding symmetrically, while water features flow gently through, blurring boundaries between built and natural.
Guests arrive via cascading steps surrounded by lush greenery, entering a world where rainforest breezes, shimmering ponds, and shifting light awaken the senses. Tiered pools reflect sunlight across varied elevations, while open corridors and dining areas capture natural light to elevate the spatial experience.
Ground-floor rooms offer private gardens; upper-level suites frame sweeping views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Aged wood, natural textures, and thoughtful simplicity root the space in calm. Suspended above cliffs, beneath violet skies and ancient trees, the resort becomes a place of inner stillness—where the spirit rests, and the self returns to balance.
