Recently, clinic spaces became very luxurious; however, we returned to past in the design of Urideul Dental Clinic. People are tired of identical electronic sound and illegible lyrics. Their ears can be soothed by analog music with sensitivity. We made the spaces in Urideul Dental Clinic as bland as analog music. We cut the walls into pieces so that lights would naturally permeate in. The sensitivity of light indirectly reaches the space and blows life into white wall to create bland space.

The stairway at entrance is not a stairway. It may be in the same context with the painting of Magritte, “This is not a pipe”. The stairway can be a cliff to a person who is sitting on the stairway. It can be an exclusive space to a person who thinks of dream. People will make different interpretation on the human doll sitting on the facade. Since the building is single-story, it does not need a stairway. The stairway is a sensitive device to give unfamiliarity. The stairway is not necessary; however, if there is a stairway, people will remember the clinic while thinking “Ah…you mean that clinic with human doll sitting on the stairway?”
