LUXURY CAROUSEL is a special project by Tommaso Cora and Lucilla Fazio at Banner, the research fashion boutique by Biffi in Milan. Their work links two Italian excellences trough design: Metalprogetti, the world market leader in automatic systems for handling garments, with its high quality skills in mechanical movements and I.C.A., Industria Conciaria Arzignanese, manufacturer of finest quality leather. The result is a new interpretation of the luxury wardrobe: technological and accuraterly designed.
The three carousels on display are three open wardrobe completely leather lined by patient hands of an Umbrian maestro. The carousels treasure the clothes swinging them even through the simple touch on a smartphone.

A STORY IN THE STORY – The Circus Zamperla arrived in Rome in 1953 where it crossed paths with Federico Fellini. Mesmerized by the magical shows that took place under the circus tent, he eventually created one of his many masterpieces: La Strada (The Road). The name of Zampano, the character played by Anthony Quinn, originates from a combination between Zamperla and Saltano, the two circus families that Fellini knew well and who then collaborated with him as consultants for his movies. We like to tell stories and we do it by connecting the many talents of our country. Our project on the circus brings together different parties with whom we had the good fortune to work: the skills of the the world market leader in automatic systems for handling garments (Metalprogetti), a master leather craftsman(Bottega Conticelli), the tannery that manufactures leathers for the major luxury brands worldwide (ICA). The carousel pony is an old piece supplied by Zamperla, the notorious company that creates amusement parks the world over.
