Hayashi, a luxury fashion business based in Frankfurt am Main, distributes high fashion and avantgarde clothing from Scandinavia. In addition to a geometrically-reduced wordmark, we developed a visual system based on striking collages which exemplified Hayashi’s progressive ambition of presenting fashion as art. This system found its way onto point of sale products, shopping bags, hang tags, posters and C-prints. To give the Hayashi experience a spatial dimension, we also created large, seasonally-changing illustrations which portrayed the boutique’s idiosyncratic styles in all their exclusive glory.
