Fraternal entrepreneurs Brian and Vincent Wu have made a name for themselves with a string a boutiques across Australia which has resonated extremely well with the nation’s young and style-conscious. Their successful venture, Incu Group, engages in fashion retail, wholesale, production and logistics, and manages both multi-brand Incu boutiques, as well as the A.P.C. and Rag & Bone stores Down Under. The company is expanding yet again, and this time with both a men’s and women’s boutique at The Galeries, a popular mall in downtown Sydney where it already operates a women’s store. The women’s store is situated on the ground floor and sees an interior design by Sydney-based design practice and longtime collaborator Akin Atelier. Similar to existing Incu boutiques, the retail space sees a welcoming and contemporary aesthetic which reflects the founders’ love for travel and design. The settings are captured by custom furnishings and fixtures, using a compatible range of materials, such as timber flooring and and matching furnishings and fixtures to create a coherent and inviting shopping environment. The new Incu women’s boutique carries a tightly curated mix of brands, such as A.P.C. and T by Alexander Wang, but also an exciting range of coveted new names, including JW Anderson, Marni, Dries Van Noten, Studio Nicholson and Simone Rocha. Celebrating opening week, Incu has teamed up with Black Star Pastry to produce an exclusive Shortbread ‘Incu Shopping Bag’. There will also be Gong Cha bubble tea available as a gift with purchase until sold out.
